International day of French speaking... anybody heard of it? lol! i just discovered it actually... it's March 20th... so today.... and it is "celebrated" all over Africa, North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Ocania (Australia), Indian ocean, and Middle East... a lot of places... i didn't know there were that many countries speaking, or knowing French.... :sheep:

lol so i'm not the only one... lol! i discovered it when i used google! :bg: the google banner was blue, white and red, so i thought it was rather odd... they do that kind of stuff like for the olympic games or other occasions.... ^^'

aw... well it's like any foreign language... you just have to learn and practice... ^_^ though french is pretty tough i have to admit...

posting on boards (especially Xltronic) always makes me feel like america doesnt value the foreign world enough, at that board there is a ton of people from iceland, germany, france, and various other non english speaking places, who all speak english...I wish we were taught at least another language when we were younger, instead of our rebellious high school years...

oh... you mean you only get to learn a foreign language in high school? i've learned english since 6th grade.... :sheep: and spanish since 8th grade... it must be the same thing in other european countries... though i'm not sure...

Yep highschool and thats it (unless you get private lessons)...We are lucky if we are taught subtraction in 8th grade...the school systems are all out of whack over here

French and Japanese...I swear Ill learn both of them one of these days
